This test is used to determine whether your mob or herd has liver fluke. Liver fluke is common in wet, marshy areas where a particular species of a freshwater snail is found. This snail is a host to liver fluke and is necessary in the reproduction process of liver fluke.

If your stock are grazing in wet areas eg along creek beds, it is recommended to test them for liver fluke. It can cause serious impact on sheep and cattle production, such as reduced, lambing percentages, liveweight gains, milk yields and fleece quality.

Please ensure that you provide an additional 10g of faeces if you choose a Fluke Sedimentation Test.
